Surfing Australia partners Everdure Barbecues
25 July 2014. Surfing Australia will be cooking up a storm this summer with Everdure Barbecues becoming a support sponsor of the Wahu Surfer Groms Comps.
Regarded as one of the major stepping stones in the development of young Australian surfers, the 10-event Wahu Surfer Groms Comps will cater for surfers from Under 8 to Under 14 and will be held in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania.
A qualified chef will be firing up the Everdure barbie making sure the hordes of grommets, their parents and friends don’t go hungry with the Everdure Sausage Sizzle feeding the crew at all 10 events.

Success at the Wahu Surfer Groms Comps has launched the careers of many of Australia’s most promising surfers.
Previous champions include former World Junior Champion Matt Banting, World Under 16 Champion Jacob Willcox and many members of the Australian junior team that has contested the ISA World Junior Championship including Luke Hynd, Eli Steele, Kai Hing, Chris Zaffis, Quinn Bruce, Isabella Nichols, Holly Wawn and Laura Poncini.
