Curtiss Smith Joins DrugFreeAZKids.org Board of Directors

(Phoenix, Ariz.) – Curtiss Smith, a senior vice president and Southwest credit executive for MidFirst Bank, has been elected to serve on the board of directors of DrugFreeAZKids.org. As a member of the board of directors, Smith is responsible for governance and fundraising to help sustain the organization.

 

“We are happy to welcome Curtiss to our board of directors,” said Leslie Bloom, CEO of DrugFreeAZKids.org. “With his banking background and a deep commitment to our kids and our community, we know he will be a great asset to our team. We look forward to the innovative ideas and talent that Curtiss brings to the table to help us achieve our mission of preventing youth drug and alcohol abuse in our communities.”

 

Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Santa Clara University and his MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Arizona and a member of the AICPA and the Arizona Society of CPA’s.

 

Smith resides in Phoenix with his wife and two children.
