Portland-based World Pulse, a global digital network, invited to present at UN Week’s Social Good Summit this Sunday in New York City

World Pulse founder and CEO Jensine Larsen joins World Pulse network members Jampa from Tibet and Olanike from Nigeria, for an inspiring panel called Accelerating Global Change: Women and the Digital Revolution this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET at the Social Good Summit in New York. The panel, which is the first event of the 4^th annual World Pulse LIVE (#WorldPulseLIVE), will be facilitated by Google’s Director of Agency Business Development, Amy Cowan.

Other speakers at the Summit include Mashable founder Pete Cashmore, Michael Dell, President Jimmy Carter, Melinda Gates, New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof, and others.

The Social Good Summit (#2030Now), which takes place at 92^nd Street Y in New York City, is a two-day conference examining the impact of technology and new media on social good initiatives around the world. Held during UN Week from September 21-22, the Social Good Summit unites a dynamic community of global leaders and grassroots activists to discuss solutions for the greatest challenges of our time. During the Social Good Summit, global citizens around the world unite to unlock the potential of technology to make the world a better place.

Meet Jampa: Born in a small village in the Tibetan plateau, Jampa is a poet and rising community leader. The only person from her village to attend a university, she has improved the lives of hundreds through small solar and literacy development projects. Jampa is committed to giving voice to the invisible women of Tibet and empowering young girls to pursue their dreams

Meet Olanike: Olanike hails from the beautiful and resource-abundant country of Nigeria. Yet, she has witnessed the environmental exploitation of her beloved homeland and mobilizes grassroots women to take charge as they have been most impacted. She believes that the only way to ensure the environmental security of Nigeria is to make sure that women have equal voice in these decisions.
