July 22, 2014 (St. Louis) – The South Asian Bar Association – St. Louis Chapter (SABA-StL) will host its first annual luncheon, “The Changing Face of St. Louis,” Thursday, August 21, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at the Cortex located at 4320 Forest Park Avenue in downtown St. Louis.

The purpose of the lunch is to celebrate the economic and cultural transformation taking place in St. Louis with the rise of entrepreneurship and scientific innovation.  Entrepreneurs, business and community leaders, attorneys, professionals, government officials and non-profit executives are encouraged to attend. 

 

Nancy Staudt, Dean of Washington University School of Law, is the keynote speaker, and opening remarks will be made by Charlie Dooley, St. Louis County Executive. Other distinguished guests in attendance include: Missouri House Speaker Tim Jones, Sen. Joe Keaveny, Sen. Eric Schmitt, Rep. Jill Schupp, Rep. Bill Otto, Rep. Karla May, and Rep. Genise Monticello

 

Ticket prices are $30.00 for SABA-StL members, $40.00 for non-members, and $20.00 for law students.
