South Point Hotel’s Culinary Team Creates a Gourmet Twist on Thanksgiving Dinner with Both Traditional and Specialty Menu Options for Holiday Diners

LAS VEGAS – South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa welcomes guests this Thanksgiving with the creation of holiday-inspired menus at Baja Miguel’s, Coronado Café, Don Vito’s, Primarily Prime Rib, Silverado Steak House and Garden Buffet.

Baja Miguel’s will serve a three-course menu and a complimentary house margarita for $16.95 per person from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., including:

·         First Course:Cream ofButternut Squash Soup;orHarvest Dinner Salad.

·         Second Course:Traditional Roasted Turkey Platter with glazed yams, seasonal vegetables, cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes topped with gravy; orCielo Mar y Tierra, a delightful combination of roasted pork loin, grilled salmon and chicken breast served over a bed of green and red pepper sauce with Yucatan potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

·         Third Course:Pumpkin Pie.

Coronado Café will serve a three-course menu and a complimentary glass of wine for $14.95 per person from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., including:

·         First Course:Cream ofButternut Squash Soup;orHarvest Dinner Salad.

·         Second Course:Traditional Roasted Turkey Platter with mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed yams, fresh seasonal vegetables and cranberry sauce.

·         Third Course:Pumpkin Pie.

Don Vito’s will serve a three-course menu and the choice of a complimentary glass of wine or cocktail for $32 per person from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

·         First Course:Cream of Butternut Squash Soup;orCaesar Salad.

·         Second Course:Roasted Turkey served with apple sage dressing, seasonal vegetables, glazed yams, Yukon gold mashed potatoes topped with gravy and a side of cranberry sauce;  Braised Beef Short Rib in a smoky blackberry sauce served with a roasted carrot farro; orPan Seared Florida Snapper with lemoncello buerre blanc served over a baked tomato.

·         Third Course: Pumpkin Pie; Apple and Pear Crisp; orCoconutCream Cannoli.

Primarily Prime Rib will serve a three-course menu with the choice of a complimentary glass of wine or cocktail for $29 from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

·         First Course:Cream of Butternut Squash Soup; or a Harvest Dinner Salad tossed tableside.

·         Second Course:Roasted Turkey served with sage dressing, seasonal vegetables, glazed yams, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce; South Point Cut Prime Rib; Herb-Rubbed Free Range Chicken Breast served over sautéed wild mushrooms and leeks topped with chicken jus and seasonal chutney;  Salmon Oscar lightly grilled salmon crowned with fresh asparagus and Alaskan Snow Crab topped with Béarnaise sauce; orPork Scaloppini prepared Française style over braised cabbage with Ortega chili cream. All entrées are served with fresh green beans or Brussels sprouts and the choice of roasted chateau, baked or Yukon Gold mashed potatoes.

·         Third Course:Chocolate Cake; Pumpkin Pie;orWarm Apple and Pear Brown Betty with cinnamon ice cream.

Silverado Steak House will serve a four-course menu with the choice of a complimentary glass of wine or cocktail for $45 from 2 to 10 p.m., including:

·         First Course:  Wild Mushroom Crepes with Dijon cream sauce;orSouthern-Style Sautéed Shrimp on cheddar cheese grits.

·         Second Course: Classic Silverado Harvest Salad;orCream of Butternut Squash Soup.

·         Third Course: Roasted Turkey Platter with apple sage dressing, giblet gravy, seasonal vegetables and cranberry sauce; 12-Ounce Blackened Rib Eye lightly dusted with applewood rub, pan seared with onion strings, barbeque and plum sauces; orSautéed Filet of Sole Nicoise served over sautéed tomatoes with garlic, capers and black olives. All entrées are served with the option of fresh green beans or Brussels sprouts topped with roasted chestnuts and the choice of roasted chateau or Yukon Gold mashed potatoes.

·         Fourth Course: Pumpkin Pie; Chocolate Cake;orWarm Bourbon Pecan Tart with cinnamon ice cream.

In addition,the Garden Buffet will feature a special Thanksgiving Day Buffet for $15.95 with a Club Card or $19.95 without a Club Card from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests will enjoy a selection of traditional holiday soups and freshly tossed salad options.  The holiday buffet offers an assortment of a la carte options including Cider Baked Ham, Bourbon Glazed Roast Loin of Porl, Steamed Clams, Herb Roasted Chicken, Seared Salmon and more. Adding to the experience, the buffet will feature a traditional roasted turkey and roasted prime rib carving station.  Guests can satisfy that sweet tooth while enjoying desserts such as the new Gelato Bar, Hot Cranberry Bread Pudding, Hot Apple and Pumpkin Brown Betty, Pies and more.
