Parsons, KS Tank Connection announced today that they are expanding operations with investments in additional equipment and personnel. Recent and planned future equipment expansions, along with the need for approximately 35 new employees, will allow the storage tank manufacturer to expand production by 50 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014.

“We are making investments in both capital assets and new personnel in order to meet demand for our products.”  Vince Horton, VP Sales Tank Connection, continues, “Our markets are strong and we offer the best bolted tank in the industry to fulfill the expectations of our clients.  The current and future outlook remains extremely positive for all of our product lines, including Shop-Welded Tanks, Field-Welded Tanks, Hybrid Storage Tanks and Aluminum Dome Covers.”

Tank Connection engineers, fabricates and installs products for both liquid and dry bulk markets.  The company ships products worldwide from five facilities located in the southeast corridor of Kansas.  Tank Connection is headquartered in Parsons, KS with the other facilities being located in Baxter Springs, KS, Oswego, KS and Galesburg, KS.  Tank Connection is celebrating 10 years in business this year.  In that short amount of time, they have grown from two employees to now crossing the four hundred mark with the inclusion of the new staff.

“The ability to leverage hard working and ethical individuals from our surrounding communities has assisted in continuing the growth of our organization,” states Shane Nash, VP Operations Tank Connection.  “The old adage of ‘An employee is your greatest asset’ holds true for Tank Connection.  We wouldn’t be looking to add additional workforce if we didn’t believe strongly in the value of the employee.”
