Obama's free-throw woes

LOS ANGELES — President Barack Obama came here Thursday to talk with four people about their lives and have a sandwich at the famous Canter’s Deli, but first, people wanted to know about the state of his free throw.
“My shot’s broke,” Obama told two older men in a booth. The president demonstrated, holding up his arm as if he were shooting a free throw.

Obama showed his technique again, miming a jump shot.
Then he made a claim that his performance at the 2013 Easter Egg Roll — when he made just two of 22 free throws — might cast some doubt on: that he makes eight of 10 shots.
“But not in a game,” Obama admitted — perhaps explaining in part why he’s switched mostly to golf....
