Goldpac Launches GCaaS Cloud Platform* * * * * *Establishes Fintech Secure Payment Industry Ecosystem

(18 October 2016, Hong Kong) The world's fourth largest, and China's top ranked payment solutions provider, Goldpac Group Limited ("Goldpac" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries the "Group", HKSE stock code: 03315), introduced Goldpac's GCaaS platform to the guests at The Computing Conference held by Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of the Alibaba Group, with the theme of "The Smartcard's Migration to the Cloud". The GCaaS cloud platform aims to integrate industry and market resources and create a convenient, collaborative, mutually-beneficial secure payment industry ecosystem through cloud services.

The GCaaS cloud platform is a new Fintech O2O business model. The platform aims to enhance the capabilities of the financial payment industry within the cloud space, strengthen the competitiveness of customers in an evolving payment environment and upgrade the user experience within the industry's supply chain ecosystem. Whilst Goldpac continues to consolidate its core business, this platform will mark the Group's joint efforts with its partners and clients to establish a mutually-beneficial service platform and industry supply chain ecosystem. The first phase of the GCaaS cloud platform is launched with two (Cloud Card Issuance and Cloud Laboratory) professional services. Of which, the GCaaS Cloud Card Issuance service mainly serves the card issuer segment and through the enabling of business collaboration, provides secure, convenient, efficient payment solutions and diversified Fintech services to realize a sharing economy. The GCaaS Cloud Laboratory leverages the Group's expertise in secure payment products and over 20 years of extensive industry experience to provide industry-leading one-stop cloud laboratory services for IoT smart secure device and secure payment product suppliers.

With the rapid expansion and deep-rooted application of cloud computing across diverse fields, the finance industry is beginning to embark on its journey to explore cloud computing development, increasing demand for cloud services and solutions.
