Relax After a Long Day with Rush Hour at MARKET by Jean-Georges Featuring Daily Appetizer and Drink Specials

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, July 31, 2014 – MARKET by Jean-Georges is embracing the recent changes to B.C.’s liquor legislation with the introduction of ‘Rush Hour’ featuring a tantalizing menu of daily appetizer and cocktail specials. ‘Rush Hour’ will be kicking off on August 7 and will be available throughout the year between 4:00 and 6:00 pm in the MARKET bar and outdoor terrace.

The first round of specials will offer the following:

Monday – Vodka and Gin Martini $7.00, 
Chicken Wings, Black Pepper Glaze $10.00

Tuesday – Ginger Margarita $7.00, Crispy Short Rib Taco with Chipotle Mayo and Lime $8.00

Wednesday - 
 Rosé $7.00, Popcorn Shrimp with Ranch and Herbs $10.00

Thursday – Grapefruit Gimlet $7.00, Chef’s Pizza Creation $10.00 



Friday – Hugo $7.00, MARKET Root Chips & Dip served with House made Ranch and Sriracha Dip $5.00  

A favourite hangout for locals and visitors alike, the alluring MARKET bar features high-polished recycled aluminum high-top chairs, Asian-inspired banquettes, white-marble cocktail tables and olive leather and dark wood chairs. The spacious outdoor terrace is an oasis overlooking the bustling city below, and the perfect place to end a busy day.  

Chef de Cuisine Montgomery Lau oversees the MARKET kitchen where he highlights cuisine inspired by the classics of Jean-Georges' “greatest hits” with fresh, locally produced ingredients emphasizing comfort and creativity--including new flavour combinations that explore spices from other regions, all while remaining close to home.
