In addition to disseminating information on sickle cell disease, SCAACI helps needy families achieve and retain home ownership.

 

If you notify SCAACI (scaaci_to_me@yahoo.com) that you are using this link for your Amazon shopping, you will get an IRS Form 8283 in the amount donated by Amazon.  This verifies the amount you can use as a charitable deduction.  This is normally an itemized deduction.  If you do not itemize, SCAACI will show you how to establish a home business and use that business for your Amazon shopping. That way, you can get your deduction via your business. It is essential that the business is setup correctly to assure acceptance by the Internal Revenue service.
