TOKYO, Mar 29, 2017 - (JCN Newswire) - Showa Denko ("SDK"; TSE:4004) today gained approval to extend the deadline for submission of its annual securities report in accordance with paragraph 3, Article 15-2 of Cabinet Office Ordinance on Disclosure of Corporate Affairs. This follows SDK's application based on paragraph 1, Article 15-2 of the ordinance as announced in the news release of March 27, 2017 entitled "SDK to Apply for Extension of Deadline for Annual Securities Report." We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to our shareholders, investors, and other parties concerned.
