Al Jazeera America sues Al Gore

First, Al Gore sued Al Jazeera America. Now, Al Jazeera America is suing Al Gore.
The network, which bought Current TV from Gore and his business partner Joel Hyatt in 2013, says it is entitled to keep money held in escrow -- and conceivably owed to Gore and Hyatt -- because the two men "did not live up to a promise to indemnify the network for claims made against Current TV."
Gore and Hyatt had sued Al Jazeera America last month on charges for unlawfully refusing to turn over the tens of millions of dollars located in the escrow account, which they say is owed to Current Media shareholders per the terms of the $500-million merger agreement made in January 2013.
