Housewild.com Launched By The Oppenheims Shares Living With Nature —Beautifully And Wildly

MIAMI, ASPEN—Designer and wild food enthusiast Ilona Oppenheim has launched lifestyle blog "Housewild" with husband and renowned architect Chad Oppenheim to share the inside scoop on their outside living. Long devoted to a nature connection in their family and professional lives, the couple have created an online platform of food adventures, recipes and design stories, as well as a cookbook due out next year chronicling their experiences.

"Over the years, Chad and I have crafted a lifestyle inspired and informed by nature; Chad, with his architecture, and I with cooking," says Ilona Oppenheim. "Housewild is simply a way of telling this story and sharing what we’ve learned."

From foraging fungi to designing into a mountain view, the Oppenheims have honed a habitat built around rituals and steeped in a philosophy that nature truly can sustain us, if we take the time to respect it. In addition to their newly launched site and a cookbook on the horizon, Ilona and Chad are hosting a series of events and pop-ups to spread their message, with their launch event this weekend at the The Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES).
