Liquid Art House Presents 'Ready To Bare': An Ode To Fashion, Color and Raw Beauty

BOSTON— Liquid Art House (LAH) is pleased to announce its fall show—an international array of artists, photographers and designers curated for a fashion-inspired group exhibition. Ready To Bare, a montage of—and homage to—fashion, color and raw beauty will highlight the extensive works, including vintage, of Rimantas Dichavičius, the 77-year old controversial Lithuanian photographer whose once-banned nudes were considered breakthrough in the Soviet era.

Also featured in the show: the traveling "Live" Versace Mural by Boston artist Giovanni DeCunto, a graffiti-like shrine to the late designer, replete with crowdsourced tributes from all over the world. LAH guests will contribute to the painting.

French artist Fanny Bucchioty apprenticed in Parisian couture fashion houses before taking her inspiration to canvas, whereas Polish artist Izabella Kay takes her art straight to fabric in her wearable art Foularts collection out of London.

The prints and paintings of New England artist Josie Morway harken back to 1900's women's fashion, whilst the psychedelic art of Jordan Piantedosi seems ripped from a 1970's London runway.

In all, a dozen artists will show over a two month period, with runway shows and fashion "shorts" planned for the multimedia wall.
