Orlando, Florida – Based on the November issue of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 1 in 4 men over 30 has low testosterone levels . Basically, as men age they are most likely to experience a decrease in testosterone levels which could to various symptoms such as decreased muscle development, low sex drive and stamina. Moreover, the low level of testosterone in men could also lead to erectile dysfunction, depression, osteoporosis and mood swings.

In the study conducted, 24% of the respondents had low total testosterone and 11 percent had low levels of free testosterone. Furthermore, 5.6% of the respondents in the study experienced symptomatic androgen deficiency. According to the researchers of the study, they estimate that by 2025, there may be as many as 6.5 million men from 30 to 79 years old with symptomatic androgen deficiency which is considered as a 38% increase from that of the year 2000.
