On August 18, 2014, Strait Def Entertainment inked Ken Swagg to an exclusive 1-year marketing and promotion deal with Strait Def Entertainment, which is the entertainment arm of public relations, marketing, booking, and management firm Strait PR. “Swagg making our Alpha Dog Tour team speaks for itself. We have analyzed hundreds of songs and when you finally come across a great artist, it literally only takes less than 15 seconds for me to give a yes or no," said CEO Eric Strait of Strait Def Entertainment. Strait says that Swagg is literally a diamond in the rough waiting to be discovered because he has not done a push for the national spot light. Strait is convinced that Swagg is a gem for radio stations across the nation to discover.

About Ken Swagg
He goes by the name of "Ken Swagg," and he’s a 22 year old phenom rapper from the D (Dallas, TX). Since the age of 7, Swagg’s been spitting verses, and at the age of 11, he recorded his first studio track. A year later, he would be performing on stage for the first time, thanks to the late, great "BIG MOE" from Houston, Texas. Due to the requests of his mother, Swagg would have to put his music aside and begin focusing on sports and school. As with most future stars, that break from music still couldn’t stop his natural star talents from shining. While in high school, he would become known around the city as a dancer by the name Lil Ken from F.B.I. Boyz. He performed every week at parties, clubs, talent shows, numerous surrounding high school pep rallies, and even performed on ESPN at Grambling State University.
Although dancing is what gave him his local fame, rapping was always in his heart and knew he had to return back to it, so he put his dancing shoes up and grabbed the mic again. From then on, he’s been performing all over the place. Swagg has even started a clothing line called "D•A•F Clothing© (Dope as Fck), and he is currently working on his first official mix-tape "Take Off". It’s named the “Take Off”, because he feels that now is his time to "Take off”...and so do we!
