Segway Tours in Glenwood Springs: Let’s Roll
- Written by Editor

In Glenwood Springs, Colorado, segway tours are one of the most novel and exciting ways to explore the mineral hot springs town. Who doesn’t want to zip around town or off-road up a mountain on a motorized, self-balancing, battery-powered personal transporter? An introductory lesson is all you need to learn how to navigate and maneuver your segway. Glenwood Adventure Company offers two segway tours.
1. Get comfortable and learn to ride your segway with the 1-Hour Adventure Tour designed for people who want a gradual introduction to this unique form of transportation. The tour takes riders through scenic Two Rivers Park, so named because it’s located at the confluence of the Colorado and Roaring Fork Rivers. A stop at the Storm King Firefighters Memorial is included. If time permits ride over to Veltus Park, another popular riverside destination.
2. More daring riders will want to sign up for the 3-Hour Red Mountain X2 Adventure tour. Again, no experience is required and tour guides will teach you all you need to know to handle the more rugged off-road terrain of Red Mountain. You’ll climb more than 1,500 feet for a bird’s eye view of Glenwood Springs including Mt. Sopris and the Elk Range to the south, Glenwood Canyon to the east and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park to the north. Check out this video by the Vail Daily spotlighting the Red Mountain segway tour.
