(8th October 2014) The iOpener Institute for People and Performance has announced the formation of iOpener Iberia.

International consultancy iOpener has partnered with Santiago Garcia who will be iOpener Iberia’s Managing Director. Santiago will lead iOpener’s consulting business in Spain, Portugal, and Andorra, and will be responsible for building iOpener Iberia into a thriving business.

iOpener Iberia, like iOpener Institute, will help organizations achieve their strategic and commercial goals by maximizing the performance, productivity and happiness of business-critical employees.

Santiago brings to the role over 15 years’ experience as an HR executive. He has worked internationally in many sectors, and in 2006 founded Jakobsland Partners, an independent consulting boutique to help leaders rethink their human capital practices in volatile, complex and ambiguous scenarios. He is also an avid blogger, a regular keynote speaker, and a frequent lecturer at universities and business schools. Santiago is co-author of a book on the future of work “El Ocaso del Empleo. Como Sobrevivir en el Futuro del Trabajo”.

Speaking about his appointment Santiago said, “The iOpener Institute is widely respected for its thought leadership and research, as well as the design and delivery of outstanding performance enhancing solutions. I am excited to bring all of them to Iberian organizations.”
