image No New Plans, Proposals Offered By P5+1

image Iran's foreign minister has noted that despite extensive negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries in the Austrian capital, Vienna, the group did not offer any significant proposals to Iran.

“There were many discussions during Vienna negotiations, but there were no new ideas and no significant proposal that I could take to Tehran,” Mohammad Javad Zarif said.

“It’s been us who have offered various proposals since the Muscat talks up to now,” the source said, referring to the trilateral negotiations between Iran, the US and the EU held earlier in the Omani capital.

Earlier in the day a source in the Iranian negotiating team said Zarif would not leave Vienna to come to Iran for consultations.

“During past three days, intense and numerous bilateral and multilateral talks have been held based on multiple plans and initiatives offered by Iran's negotiating team…during previous talks in Omani capital, Muscat,” Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said.

She added that negotiations between the two sides will continue at various expert and political levels.

“No new plans have been offered by the member states of the P5+1 group,” Afkham emphasized.

image Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says the US should change its attitude toward the ongoing talks about Iran's nuclear program so that the negotiations could bear fruit.

Larijani that the Iranian team is offering proposals that the other side should take into consideration so that the two sides could reach a successful deal.

Iranian Majlis Speaker has also called on the world parliaments to condemn Israel’s inhumane acts of aggression against the Palestinians.

“It is necessary for the world parliaments to condemn the Zionist regime’s inhumane acts,” Larijani said in an open letter to parliamentary speakers across the world.

The ongoing developments in the occupied Palestinian lands and the Israeli radical and military forces’ storming of the al-Aqsa mosque, while the consequences of the regime’s summer war are still plaguing the Gaza Strip, indicate Tel Aviv's "usurping, expansionist and savage nature," the letter read in part.

It added that Israel’s Judaization bid as well as its land grab and settlement construction policy are in contravention to the international law and human rights' principles.

Larijani called on parliaments in the world to call emergency meetings and issue statements in condemnation of Israel’s policies and in support of Palestinians.
